What are your views on the drama between Russell Wilson, Ciara, and Ciara’s best friend? For those who have not heard about it Russell was photographed with Ciara’s best friend sitting on his lap. People immediately started speculating and saying it was inappropriate. I feel the whole issue could have all been avoided. Women should learn to keep a bit of distance between their spouses and their friends. I’m not saying that you should hide your friends from your significant other. Or that they should not know each other but I do feel that their should be limitations.

In my opinion Ciara’s friend felt WAY too comfortable. Especially with them being celebrities she should know better. Do not get me wrong her siting on his lap does not mean that they are sleeping together. It does not mean that they have any romantic relationship what so ever. However, in my opinion it is HIGHLY inappropriate. Your friend can definitely hang out with your boyfriend/ spouse and take a photo but why did she need to be on him like that?

Hence the Nigerian Proverb “Na from clap dance dey start”. This simply means its the little things you do today that lead to the big things you do tomorrow. Small temptations often lead to infidelity. She sits on his lap he smells her hair he likes it. He grabs her waist she enjoys it. Next thing you know broken marriage. Not saying that is what will happen in this case but that is how rubbish begins.

Everyone should respect themselves jeje. Your friend does not need to be calling your husband her “bro”. She does not need to be sitting on his lap. She does not need to text him at late hours. She does not need to make him meals. She does not need to keep him company when you are not home. She does not need to buy him presents. Keep your encounters brief and from a certain distance when a guy is taken. Simple.

Some will say its insecurity. Some will say its not that serious. Trust me its for self preservation. Relationships are weird like that strong today weak tomorrow. It only takes one mistake to destroy a great relationship.
