Betty Irabor writes about women in abusive relationships

Betty Irabor, Publisher of Genevieve Magazine has taken to her Instagram to write a touching story about women in abusive relationships. In her brief commentary she speaks about the stigma that comes along with divorce. She discourages women from thinking that if they leave their spouse there is no life after marriage. Check out what she said below:

IMHAO many women stay because they want their children to be taken care of. However, you might be doing them more harm than good staying in an abusive relationship. In the future the children will surely have  issues stemming from all the abuse they witnessed.

If you are in an abusive relationship get out as soon as possible. There is life after that man. The road might not be easy but you will be better off in the end. Have you ever been in an abusive relationship? Leave a comment
