7 STEP DIY WEDDING DECOR!

YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

When planning our wedding we wanted to make sure to get the most for our buck! Because of this we opted to decorate the venue ourselves. I believed this was a great idea because it would be more cost effect and we would be able to keep all the supplies for future events. We also have to option of selling them.

Keep in mind DIY wedding decor is not easy but as long as you have the time and discipline anyone can pull it off! I worked hard on my event and in the end it turned out lovely. Aside from the centerpieces I also made the seating cards, card box, programs, menu cards, invitations, and many other things.

STEPS:

1. WHAT DOES YOUR VENUE OFFFER?
For our reception we used the emerald room of Crest Hollow Country Club. The venue already provided tables, table cloths, seats, and silverware. This made my job super easy. The only thing I had to focus on was the centerpieces, menu cards, and table numbers.

2. PICK A THEME

3. PICK A COLOR SCHEME

4. ORDER ALL SUPPLIES NEEDED

5. PREPACKAGE AND ARRANGE ALL DECOR THAT WILL BE USED

6. ASSIGN FAMILY MEMBER, OR FRIEND TO ASSEMBLE DECOR DAY OF

7. PLACE INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE OF PRE PACKAGED AND ARRANGED DECOR

I hope this helps!
